Guess what happened at Taiping Elementary School on May 23rd, 2025? It was the big Starlight Talent Show! Everyone was so excited to see their friends shine.

Our awesome teachers at Taiping Elementary want every kid to have a chance to show off their special talents. They help every student feel like a super bright star!

This year, the show had so many cool acts! We saw the black light drama group, who even won a big award! There were also kids playing the recorder and ocarina, dancing hip-hop, doing tricks with diabolos, rocking out on electric guitars, and singing wonderful songs.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came to watch and cheer! And a giant THANK YOU to all the teachers who worked so hard to help the students practice and get ready. It was a really fun and sparkly show for everyone!

What a fun day it was at Taiping Elementary School on May 13th, 2025! The whole school was filled with laughter and the sound of English talking! Kids had special cards in their hands and were zipping all around the school, taking on English challenges one by one.

There were 10 exciting stations in total! Each classroom teacher and the two English teachers became "station masters," helping students practice and show they knew 20 useful English phrases for the classroom.

The students weren't just trying hard; their faces were full of big smiles and they looked so proud of what they accomplished!

A huge thank you goes out to the school's office team for making sure everything ran smoothly. And a big shout-out to all the teacher "station masters" for their energy and dedication – you guys are the best! It was a truly fun and successful English day for everyone!

Get ready for some listening fun at Taiping Elementary School! Every Wednesday or Friday morning, during homeroom time, something super special happens. A wonderful group of storytelling volunteers comes to visit classrooms!

Who are these amazing storytellers? They're often parents from the school or even retired teachers who love to share stories. They come right into your classroom to enjoy reading time with all the students. These stories aren't just fun; they also help kids use their imagination and think deeply about different ideas! 

What's really cool is that these stories are connected to big, important topics called the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). So, while you're listening to a story, you might also be learning about things like protecting our planet (like taking action on climate!), being fair to everyone (gender equality), or even how to be a smart shopper (responsible consumption). It's a great way to learn about important things happening all over the world without even realizing it!

Through this regular story time, Taiping Elementary wants reading to be like a bridge for kids to explore the world. It also helps students learn to be caring citizens who think about a sustainable future from a young age.

Good news from Taiping Elementary School! During the 2024 school year, something really special happened to celebrate good character.

Every month, the school picked a special student to be a "Character Star". These kids were chosen because they showed awesome qualities like being honest, respectful, or responsible. It's a fantastic way to celebrate students who are doing their best to be kind and good!

But the fun didn't stop there! Each "Character Star" got to have a special tea time with the principal! Imagine that – sitting down with your principal, chatting and sharing stories. It was a great chance for these stars to talk about what they learned and how they showed good character. This special time also helps encourage other students to shine too!

The school also focused on different important values each month, like honesty, respect, and responsibility. By learning about these values, students at Taiping Elementary are growing into amazing people. These lessons help them not just in school, but also as they grow up!

Hey everyone! Guess what happened at Taiping Elementary School during the 2024 school year?

Students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 had awesome swimming classes! These classes were super important because they helped kids learn how to be safe in the water.

They learned to stay calm in the pool and do cool things like the jellyfish float. This helps them know how to rescue themselves if they ever need to! Learning these skills makes them much better at keeping themselves safe.

Swimming can be a little tricky sometimes, but as the kids practiced and got better, they also learned to be brave! They felt more confident and ready to try new things. And guess what else? They learned all about water safety rules and how to stay away from danger around water.

It sounds like everyone had a great time and learned some really important lessons!
